Great value on bundle deal

I was looking for a new mattress and saw Sealy had a bundle deal going on. I picked up a queen Sealy Foam mattress with two free memory foam pillows. The discount on the mattress itself was pretty good, saved me a couple hundred bucks, plus those pillows would have cost a fair bit if I bought them separately. It felt like a really good deal for my budget. Shipping took about a week to my place in Florida, which was standard. The mattress is comfy and the pillows are a nice bonus. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth.

Consistent quality, returning customer

This was my third purchase from Sealy, and they've been consistently reliable. I ordered the Sealy Hybrid mattress this time, and just like my previous Posturepedic, the delivery was smooth and the mattress arrived in perfect condition. I appreciate that their quality hasn't dipped over the years. I keep coming back because I know what to expect, and they always deliver. The Hybrid feels a bit different from my last one, but in a good way.

Good mattress, easy order

I got a queen size Posturepedic mattress a few weeks ago and it's been pretty good. Ordering it was straightforward, no issues there. It took about 10 days to get here in California, which was fine. Slept better than on my old lumpy one for sure. Happy with it overall.

My job qualifies for a military discount. Does Sealy offer that, and if so, how do you even apply it?

S Sophie Beaumont 2 months ago
Yeah, they do! I think you usually have to verify your status through one of those third-party services on their site, and then they'll give you a code or apply it automatically.

They have specific discounts for military, teachers, nurses, etc. Check their special offers page, it'll tell you how to get the code or link for it.

What's the deal with their 'white glove' delivery? Is that just them dropping it off, or do they actually set it up?

M Mia 2 months ago
White glove means they bring it in, set it up for you, and take away all the packaging. It's not just a curbside drop.

It's full service. They put it right where you want it and clean up. Super convenient if you don't want to wrestle a mattress yourself.

Anyone know if Sealy usually has a good sale for Memorial Day? Been eyeing a Hybrid but want to wait for the best deal.

A Anna M. 2 months ago
Definitely! Memorial Day is one of their big sale times. You'll likely see some decent discounts then, usually a few hundred off.

They pretty much always have sales around major holidays, so Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday. Good call waiting it out for a bit.

How long did it take for your Sealy mattress to actually show up after you ordered it? I'm in NYC and kinda need it by next month.

J June Q. 2 months ago
Mine took about 2 weeks to get to me in upstate NY. So a month for NYC sounds totally doable.

Shipping can vary, but usually it's not super long. Maybe 1-3 weeks depending on the exact mattress and your location. You should be fine for next month.

Is there really much of a difference between the regular Posturepedic and the Posturepedic Plus? Trying to figure out if the 'Plus' is worth the extra cash.

N Nina 2 months ago
I tried both in a store. The Plus felt a bit more premium, like it had extra layers of comfort/support. Kinda depends on your budget and how much extra 'oomph' you want.

From what I remember, the Plus usually has better materials or more advanced support zones. If you have specific back issues, the extra support might be worth it, but for most people, the regular one is already really good.
